A common deterrent for unwarranted attention from birds are Bird Spikes. These are made from stainless steel and mounted into a poly-carbonate base and prevent birds landing on the area protected with Bird Spikes.
Birds can also be baited. This form of control requires a permit from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service that we obtain.
Trapping of birds is another means of control. This method involves encouraging birds into a trap that is placed at their roosting and/or feeding sites. The trap is checked, fresh food and water is supplied, trapped birds are removed and the trap is re-set or removed.
